Plastic Surgery Outcomes Research Team (PSORT)
This program bridges international relationships and increases brand visibility in both academic and research communities.

Overview
The conceptual development of the Plastic Surgery Outcomes Research Team (PSORT) in 2017 was inspired by Mayo Clinic’s successful examples of collaboration across the three shields of clinical practice, research and education.
Focus
This program not only supports Mayo Clinic’s commitment to education, research and patient care, but also bridges international relationships and increases brand visibility in both academic and research communities.

Testing
Since inception, processes have been refined, and international talent has been recruited. The group was founded in July 2018, and it started working on outcomes-based research related to lymphedema, breast and migraine surgery, as well as the use of artificial intelligence and new technologies to improve patient care.
